With every trip to the register, Price Plus Club loyalty members are rewarded with special discounts, making this a must-have loyalty membership for ShopRite customers. We'll dive into every aspect of Price Plus, exploring its benefits and how you can take advantage of your membership. We'll also make note of a couple of areas that could be improved in order for ShopRite to provide an even better experience for its members.

Program Benefits

ShopRite Price Plus provides members with a bunch of great benefits including discounts on hundreds of ShopRite items, members-only offers, free holiday items, and personalized deals to make your shopping much more valuable. Members can make the most of their experience by utilizing their Price Plus membership every time they visit. Being a member of the ShopRite Price Plus Club from ShopRite is totally free and it means you'll get access to all the benefits from the moment you join.

Benefit Redemption

To redeem your Price Plus Club benefits at ShopRite, simply stay on the lookout for special signage while you shop that shows you discounted member prices. When you get to the register, you'll see these discounts reflected on your final bill. Just be sure to identify yourself as a member when you check out or your purchases will not be tied to your account and you won't be able to apply the members-only discounts.

ShopRite Rewards Card

You will be issued a ShopRite Price Plus Card as soon as you become a member of the loyalty program. Your Price Plus Card serves as your official reward card and can be accessed either digitally or physically. It contains your full account information including your name, phone number, and account number, represented by a barcode that can be scanned by the cashier. If you do choose to carry a ShopRite Price Plus card with you when you shop then you can simply scan it at the register when checking out. Fortunately, if you misplace your card, you can use your phone number to access your account instead. And as an added benefit, ShopRite will pay to have your card sent to you if anyone should find it and happen to drop it in a mailbox.

Click & Save

In 2023, ShopRite launched its Click & Save program, which offers rebates for loyalty members. This is a huge improvement over the 'Save to Card' coupon functionality that ShopRite debuted in 2017, and enables you to stack your savings above and beyond what you would earn on everyday groceries as a Price Plus member. Click & Save works as a mini loyalty program within the larger Price Plus program and is great for picking up additional rewards. For example, ShopRite will track your purchases of a certain cereal brand, and when you hit 5, you'll get the 6th one free. In order to use Click & Save, simply load the applicable offers to your Price Plus Card and start shopping. When you hit the reward threshold for a specific product that you're tracking, you'll simply download your reward and it will be available for redemption on your Price Plus Card account.

What You Won't Find

Despite being a pretty robust loyalty program, there are some notable things that Price Plus does not provide its members. While the overall program is is pretty standard as far as grocery loyalty pograms go, we'll examine a couple of the loyalty program elements that you might miss at ShopRite.

Gas Rewards

While it is common for supermarket rewards programs to feature a Gas Rewards or Fuel Rewards component, ShopRite does not have a Gas Rewards benefit. Instead, you'll earn special discounts and members-only coupons after joining ShopRite Price Plus.

Rewards Points

As part of their Price Plus Club, ShopRite does not issue rewards points and there is no point per dollar earning mechanism as with other loyalty programs. Instead, ShopRite offers instant discounts on hundreds of grocery items and other products sold at the supermarket.

What's New?

In November 2023, ShopRite announced a new promotion for Price Plus rewards members, just ahead of the Thanksgiving Holiday. To help combat a surge in prices across the board during the year, ShopRite is offering a Free Thanksgiving Turkey when you spend at least $400 on groceries. And with the usual pre-feast shopping trip, spending $400 is certainly within reach. ShopRite is launching this promo in order to stay competitive with other supermarket chains, with the likes of Giant, Target, and BJ's each offering similar deals this holiday season.
