How it Works

Many loyalty programs in The United States work on a system of points and rewards. Adorama Rewards offers special perks and benefits to its members, rewarding you with every dollar you spend. Using the example below, we’ll show you how you could earn a $6 reward based a standard points-per-dollar spent rewards program.

How do I earn points?

Loyalty card programs such as Adorama Rewards often award you a set number of points with each purchase. Here is an example of how this might work: Earn 2 points for every $1 you spend as a member of Adorama Rewards. This might change based on your status level as higher status levels often earn more points per dollar spent. For example Tier 1 members might earn 2 points for every $1 spent, while Tier 2 members could earn 4 points and Tier 3 members get 6 points.

Redeeming Rewards

Since the rewards are typically recurring, the number of points per dollar you’d earn at Adorama Rewards naturally increases the value of every point and leads to a greater rewards-redemption value. Let’s take a look at how this could play out across multiple tiers of membership.

Tier 1: Let’s say Tier 1 members earn 2 points for every $1 they spend. If every 500 points gets you a $6 reward, then you’re effective points redemption rate is 2.40%.

Tier 2: If Tier 2 members spend $1 and get 4 points then they would be redeeming every 500 points for a $6 reward at the rate of 4.80% back. This is double the 2.40% rate they’d be getting as a Tier 1 loyalty card member.

Tier 3: Once you make it to Tier 3 in the program, you’d be earning 6 points for every $1 spent. When redeeming 500 points for a $6 voucher, this equates to a 7.20% rate of redemption on your points. This is triple the 2.40% earning rate of Tier 1 members and 50% more than the 4.80% rate earned by Tier 2 members.

Adorama Rewards and many other loyalty schemes in The United States may structure the point-earning this way, with rewards subsequently issued in the form of a voucher that has a unique code. When shopping online, you’d be able to quickly apply your Adorama Rewards voucher and reduce the price of your shopping cart accordingly.

Earning Bonus Points

There also may be bonus points opportunities where you can get credit for partaking in activities that are not related to making purchases. This could be a great way to increase the value of your Adorama Rewards membership, and we’ll break this down here as well. For example, a common example that loyalty card schemes in The United States like to offer is a signup bonus where you could see up to 500 points credited to your account just for joining. This is a great way to get you off to a strong start as you work toward earning a reward as a loyalty program member.

  • Follow the program on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram (10 points)
  • Share a Facebook Post or Retweet the program’s content (45 points)
  • Enter your birthday in your program account profile (100 points)
  • Post a review of a recent purchase (100 points) and add a photo to that review (85 points).

  • Refer a Friend

Adorama Rewards is always looking for new members and brands in this position often offer special bonuses for referring your friends to join. When this promotion is active, you’ll find a unique referral code in your Adorama Rewards account, which you can share with your friends. When your friend joins, they would get a Adorama Rewards voucher (usually $6-$20) that can be used on a future purchase. Adorama Rewards will, as a bonus, also credit you with a voucher for the same amount.

    Points & Rewards Expiration

Generally speaking points will have an expiration period of around 12 months, especially if your account slips into inactivity. However, some programs do not subject their points and rewards to any expiration at all. Adorama Rewards may change their expiration rules from time to time, so it’s always a good idea to check their rewards website for the latest expiry information.

Missing Points for a Transaction or Visit?

One common problem among loyalty program members in The United States is that many people forget to identify themselves as a member when paying. Adorama Rewards may allow you to retroactively earn credit for your missing transaction. Just contact SoLoyal to get your missing points credited.

    Terms & Exclusions

Adorama Rewards, like many of the popular loyalty schemes in The United States, may not allow you to earn points on sale items or when purchasing gift cards. However, points are typically earned when using the gift card for purchases. Their main website should have more info about that.
