As a Chef's Table member, every year on your birthday you'll be rewarded with a $30 voucher that can be used at Benihana. Certificates will be mailed to you around 8-10 days before your birthday and from that point forward you'll have 29 days to redeem the voucher.

Things to Watch Out For

While the $30 Benihana Birthday Voucher provides great value, there are a number of things to take in consideration before redeeming. In order to use your voucher, you'll have to spend at least $30 on a meal. Vouchers are good during dinner hours from Monday through Thursday, so weekends are out, and you'll need to present a printed voucher along with your photo ID that matches the name on the voucher.

Also, the actual value of the voucher is said to be 'up to' $30, and it only applies on qualifying items. That means that while items such as teppanyaki entrees, sushi rolls, side orders, desserts and non-alcoholic beverages may be deducted, other items may not be. For example, alcohol, tax and gratuity are never eligible for deductions with your voucher, so you'll definitely want to double check which items are eligible before placing your order. This will ensure you get the full value of your birthday voucher.
