The Hard Rock brand has been known and loved for decades for creating magical and entertaining experiences across a network of hundreds of hotels, cafes, casinos, and shops in 74 countries. The brand sought to unify their customers under a loyalty program that enabled members to earn rewards at any Hard Rock location, so it created Unity. Unity is the official loyalty program of Hard Rock and works at hundreds of the brand's facilities all around the world.

Hard Rock Sports Betting App

In December 2023, Hard Rock rolled out the Unity Betting App. The app serves as a platform for sports betting and other activities like live streaming events and account management functionalities such as depositing funds. Users can place bets on a variety of sports events, including NFL, NHL, NBA, MMA, tennis, soccer, and college-level sports. Access to the app is limited initially to existing Florida customers and recent loyalty program registrants, with others placed on a waitlist for future access. Eventually Hard Rock plans to roll out its Unity Sports Betting App to a wider audience all across the United States, significantly expanding the opportunity to earn rewards as a loyalty program member.

How it Works

Unity by Hard Rock works on a system of Unity Points and Tier Credits. Generally speaking, you'll earn points and credits any time you participate in gaming, dining, shopping, or staying in a Hard Rock hotel. The Unity Points can be cashed in for rewards, while the Tier Credits enable you to level up through the program's 4 status levels. This makes for a great combination and enables you to derive value from virtually all your activity as a Unity member. We'll explore all of the earning mechanisms of this loyalty program, including what you'll get when you achieve each status level.

Unity Points

You'll earn 3 Unity Points for every qualifying $1 you spend at Hard Rock Cafes, Hotels, and Shops. These must be participating locations, of course. Non-gaming spending at Casinos is different as you'll only earn 1 point per $1 spent, instead of 3 points. You can also earn Unity Points on your gaming spend, but the exact rate varies based on the particular Hard Rock Casino.

Do Unity Points expire?

Hard Rock Unity Points will expire after 6 months if you haven't made a purchase within that time. As long as you continue to make purchases (at least once every 6 months), your Unity Points will not expire. Keep in mind that redeeming Unity Points do not extend the expiration of any remaining points in your account. You'll have to actually make a new purchase to keep your points valid.

Tier Credits

Tier Credits are Hard Rock Unity's mechanism by which you're able to achieve new status levels. They're calculated beginning every January 1 for the entire calendar year and can be earned on your total spend at Hard Rock cafes and hotels, as well as on dining and retail purchases. This includes meals, merchandise, and hotel stays. You'll earn 3 Tier Credits for every $1 spent at Cafes and Hotels, as long as they are non-casino locations. For non-gaming spend in Hard Rock casinos, you'll earn 1 Tier Credit per $1 spent. Gaming-related purchases also earn Tier Credits, but the rate of earning per dollar spent varies based on the particular Hard Rock Casino location you're visiting.

Do Tier Credits expire?

Tier Credits are reset each year on January 1. That means you'll start each year with 0 Tier Credits, regardless of your status level in Unity by Hard Rock.

Status Levels

Unity by Hard Rock has 4 status levels, each with special benefits that make it increasingly valuable as you level up. The entry level, Star, is yours as soon as you join Unity and requires no special spending milestone. The next levels, Legend and Icon, require reaching a certain number of Tier Credits. Star Status

Star Status at Unity by Hard Rock is the basic entry-level status. Once you join you'll enjoy exclusive offers, promos and rewards. This includes location-specific discounts and member-only rates when you book direct with Hard Rock. You'll also be able to customize your check in amenities at Hard Rock Hotels and enjoy a dedicated check in area on arrival. Other perks, like the Free Birthday Dessert, sweeten the deal even further, making Star Status a great introduction to the Unity loyalty program.

Legend Status

Once you earn 4,000 Tier Credits as a member of Unity by Hard Rock, you'll be upgraded to Legend Status. Legend members get an upgraded suite of benefits, which includes exclusive access to entertainment experiences and a priority customer support line. You'll also want to take advantage of the complimentary valet service at Hard Rock Hotels, as well as special Tier Credit and Unity Point multiplier days, which boost your earnings with every dollar you spend.

Icon Status

In order to reach Icon status at Unity by Hard Rock, you'll need to accumulate 15,000 Tier Credits. You'll notice that your overall experience as an Icon member puts you on another level, as amenities like a Hard Rock's Elite Arrival and Departure Experience become yours. For gaming, you'll enjoy priority casino access and complimentary access to High Limit Rooms.

X Status

If you're lucky enough to score an invite, you'll enjoy all the bespoke benefits that come with X Status at Unity by Hard Rock. Because this is an invite-only status, Hard Rock will allow you to fully customize your member experience. You can expect exclusive access, personalized service and more.

Your Hard Rock Unity status is valid for 14 months.
