Step #3 Join Sonesta Travel Pass: You’ll have the option of joining Sonesta Travel Pass. You can also link your existing account.
About Sonesta Hotels Rewards
Sonesta Rewards is a loyalty program that offers members rewards, perks and other exclusive benefits. By enrolling in Sonesta Rewards you will earn 10 points per dollar spent across Sonesta hotels and resorts. Points are then redeemable for free nights at any participating Sonesta hotel. When you sign up for Sonesta Travel Pass, you'll be able to earn bonus points and enjoy special benefits on select stays, and you'll also be eligible for members-only special offers.
At participating Sonesta properties, you can receive an upgrade to a preferred room type. This could include the next-best available room type booked, or it could also mean that you get a room with a desirable view, a corner room, one on a high floor, or even one with special amenities. You might even get to stay in a room on Club Floor or in a suite.
How do status levels work?
The amount of Qualified Room Nights you accumulate in a Qualifying Year will determine which level of membership you qualify for. Once you reach the required number of Qualified Room Nights, your membership level will be granted and maintained for the remainder of the calendar year as well as the subsequent year.Members—You can be a member by signing up for free, and you'll maintain this status if you've booked between zero and five qualified room nights in a single year.
Preferred Members—You can become a Preferred Member by booking between six and eleven qualified room nights in the same qualifying year.
Elite Members—Elite Members are those who have booked twelve or more qualified room nights in the same qualifying year.
Please note that this loyalty program typically works for all your purchases at Sonesta Hotels, but some exceptions may apply. The amount of Qualified Room Nights you accumulate in a Qualifying Year will determine which level of membership you qualify for. Free Nights & Upgrades
At participating hotels, Sonesta will try to provide benefits and services in accordance with your personal preferences indicated in your online profile. This means that they will try to give you the kind of room you want and a nice view, but there are no guarantees—and sometimes, it's just not possible to make it happen.
High Speed Internet
When you stay at a Sonesta property, they'll upgrade your internet tier to the premium tier for free. That means you can connect up to 7 devices at once, and get twice as much bandwidth. It's just one more they're making sure that you have the best experience possible. Your complimentary high-speed internet access is only valid for in-room usage. This means that if you need to use the internet in any other location (like the hotel work center or group and meeting space) you will be charged.Free Beverage Credit
Members enjoy a complimentary drink at Sonesta Hotels, valued up to $15.00 including tax and gratuity.Dining Discount
At participating Sonesta operated restaurants (not including in-room dining), you'll get a discount on your dining bill, not including any alcohol you may have ordered. With SoLoyal you can automatically track your Sonesta Hotels account, including your rewards balance, rewards or points expiration, current status and what is needed to reach your next reward as a member of the Sonesta Travel Pass loyalty program.
As part of their membership program, Sonesta Hotels provides many achievable loyalty rewards. Member benefits are separate from membership rewards and are always able to be earned or redeemed based on your activity.
Sonesta Travel Pass awards its members 3 status levels. It has 5 benefits that you’ll be able to utilize during your membership.
Sonesta Travel Pass does have a number of rules and restrictions that you'll need to be aware of when joining the program. For example, all members will earn one Qualified Room Night credit for every night they stay at one of Sonesta's hotels. No matter how many reservations you book or pay for it's just one Qualified Room Night credit per member per night.
Also, members cannot earn Qualified Room Night credits, points or receive membership benefits for single-day use. While Day Use is a great way to experience Sonesta hotels and resorts, it doesn't count toward earning Qualified Room Nights or points. The stay must be for a minimum of one night to receive credit, points and membership benefits.
Lastly, Sonesta Travel Pass member benefits and perks are provided for the member's room only, and cannot be used on other rooms or additional guests.
