How to Earn Sony Rewards

You can earn Sony Rewards by paying with your Sony Visa Credit Card or your PlayStation Visa Card. The Sony Visa Credit Card gives you one point per dollar on all purchases with the ability to earn between 2x-5x on certain purchases. The PlayStation Credit Card also earns 1 point per dollar and comes with the added benefit of 3x-5x bonus points on specific purchase categories.

How to Redeem Sony Rewards

It's easy to redeem Sony Rewards. Just browse the Sony Rewards Catalogue to find the items that you'd love to own. You'll find a whole array of Sony products there as well as certain "Deals & Steals" that make your redemption even more valuable with reduced pricing. In addition, Sony's ShowStoppers program gives you access to experiences and collectibles. Lastly, if you don't have enough points to redeem, you can purchase them at checkout for just one penny per point. When you find something you want to redeem, simply select it and checkout. Not Eligible for Sony Rewards

Periodically, you'll find that some items are not eligible for Sony Rewards. One prominent example of this is Sony Camera products. While these products used to be eligible for Sony Rewards, they were removed from the rewards program in April of 2021.

Sony Rewards Points Expiration

As long as your Sony Rewards account does not slip into activity for 18 months, your Sony points will remain valid for 5 years. The five-year period begins at the conclusion of the month in which the points were first earned. Rewards-earning activity includes making a rewards-eligible purchase with your Sony Credit Card.
