Join My Bath & Body Works for FREE!

Bath & Body works has a fantastic loyalty program called My Bath & Body Works, which enables you to earn points with every purchase. You can redeem your points periodically for free products, which is a great value considering that membership is free. We'll review every aspect of the Bath & Body works loyalty program, including how to join, how to earn points, and how to redeem your rewards.

Eligible Zip Codes

The My Bath & Body works is only available in some states, including California, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Virginia, and West Virginia. When you join the program, you'll first be asked to enter your zip code, and if your zip code falls within one of these states, then it's most likely that you'll be able to become a member. Here is the full list of eligible zip codes.

How to Earn Points

There are a few ways to earn points at Bath & Body Works and we'll cover them all here.

Points per Dollar

You'll earn 10 points per $1 you spend at Bath & Body works, not including any discounts, shipping and handling fees, taxes, gift card credits, or gift-wrap fees. You should also note that technically you're earning 1 point for every 10 cents. This is important because Bath & Body works actually calculates your points total on each order, rounded up or down based on the nearest 5-cent increment. For example, A purchase of $15.34 will earn you 153 points, while a purchase of $15.35 will earn you 154 points.

Bonus Points

From time to time, Bath & Body works might offer you points that are not related to the usual points you get for purchases. For example, there may be certain activities (i.e. visiting a store, filling out your account profile) that earn you bonus points. SoLoyal will make you aware of any bonus points opportunities that are available at Bath & Body Works.

Automatic Bonus

Sometimes you'll get bonus points from Bath & Body Works without doing anything extra. These bonus points might be applied to your account as a multiplier on points you've already earned, or just as part of a special promotion intended to reward My Bath & Body Works members with a little something extra.

Past Purchases

You can earn points on purchases you've made even before you became a member of My Bath & Body Works, as long as those purchases were made no more than 7 days prior to joining. To apply these past purchases to your account, contact Bath & Body Works Customer Care at 1-800-869-0158.

Ineligible Purchases

There are some purchases that don't earn points at Bath & Body Works, including purchases made through 3rd parties (i.e. Instacart), or purchases made on behalf of a business.

How to Redeem

You can redeem a free product at Bath & Body Works every time you reach 750 points. Considering a rate of 1 point per $1 spent, this means you'll have to spend $75 in order to reach a reward (not including any bonus points). Since the maximum value of your free product reward is $16.50, this means you're effectively getting up to 22% back in rewards with every purchase. That's a great value as far as rewards programs go.

To redeem your reward online, enter your rewards code at checkout. When in store, you can present your rewards code to the cashier and they will apply the reward for you. If you're redeeming your reward on a transaction which has multiple items, then it will automatically be applied to the most expensive item in your cart as long as the item is under $16.50. You can redeem up to 8 rewards in a single transaction and you can combine your rewards with other Bath & Body Works offers and promotions.

Rewards and Points Expiration

If you have no account activity (i.e. no new purchases), Bath & Body Works rewards points will expire 365 days after they are earned. In addition, rewards expire just 90 days after they're issued. Since Bath & Body works may not actually inform you of upcoming expirations, it's a good idea to link your rewards account to SoLoyal. SoLoyal will always alert you to any points and rewards expirations that may be on the horizon.
